Today is my birthday. Yikes-oppotumus! How did that happen? Another year older, well really just another day older. Thank goodness that we don't jump directly from one year to the next. We get many days in between to enjoy.
Today, I celebrate my life. I give thanks to my mother and father for creating me, to my husband for putting up with me and to my brother and sister for growing up with me.
I have done many things in my life, but not nearly enough. I still have many years ahead of me. I try not to wallow in self pity over my health. I know people have it much worse than I do.
I will continue to reach for my dream of becoming a published writer.
