FALLING THROUGH THE CRACKS

Sometimes, life gets in the way of things you like to do.  And I love to write, unfortunately, I am not as prolific as I was even three months ago.  I am attempting to get back into the swing of things by blogging, editing my previous works and attempting writing exercises.

My voices/muses have been quiet lately with a few exceptions.  Miri from the previously titled Twilight Dance is beginning to make some noise, John Dunham is speaking softly as I edit his diary and Essie is clammoring for me to get back to her story.

Family is the issue here.  Yes, I know I have a small family with only my hubby and I here in Zanesville, but with his medical concerns needing to be met frequently, I find I have little time or inclination to write.

So, I am starting slowly.  Trying to get through that crack in the stone, so I can work.  Baby steps is what I am taking.  Things are looking up for my children's books, as I have an illustrator.  Keep your fingers crossed that all works out.

Oh, and I think the fog has lifted, which should help with my writing.  Hard to write when the voices are blocked by depression.

I know that I am not the only writer with family issues or depression, so if any of you want to jump into this discussion to let me know how you cope with everything and write at the same time, please do.

Here are some links on the subject.

I hope you find the energy you need, and that your writing will pick up speed once more soon!
