In honor of National Poetry Month Writers Digest is challenging reader to write a poem a day.
Although I am not posting my poems here or on Writers Digest, I am taking up the challenge.
Today's prompt is to write a Haiku.
Go to http://blog.writersdigest.com/poeticasides/ for the poetry prompts if you have trouble coming up with your own ideas. The poems don't have to be perfect only rough drafts, since writing daily poems can be challenging. The point is just to write them and then go back later to polish them.
